Loctite SI 5940 is determined for most surface types because of its excellent adhesive and sealing qualities (not recommended for concrete). It resists ageing, weather influence and temperature cycle, UV radiation and ozone, all this without hardening/setting, contracting or cracking. Its thixotropic caracter prevents its flowing down from the spot where it has been applied. Thanks to its unique chemical composition and material inner quality Loctite SI 5940 provides top-class resistance against the enviroment. It is highly oil, water and glycol resistant. It can be used for glass, metal, ceramics, composite and most plastic materials.
